Approved Service Description
The subject service of this Grant of Approval is the Identity Proofing Service (IPS) and the Identity Broker Service (IBS) from Verizon (UK) Ltd.
The solution provides:
- identity validation & verification & counter-fraud services to Barclays Identity provider services for GOV.UK Verify and ;
- translate SAML requests from Government to Barclays.
The Verizon IPS/IBS policy addresses the policies related to the proofing life cycle for customer identity and assertion of an LOA2 proved identity towards the UK Government UK Verify portal.
